COVID-19 – Suspending Clinics

The COVID-19 Pandemic has been described as one of the world’s greatest health crises. Official guidance is regularly published to ensure that we all must do what we can to stop the spread of the virus.

To coincide with the latest government “lock-down” issued on 23rd March 2020, and with respect to staff and patient health and safety, we have been given new guidance to suspend several clinics until further notice. Although this is a regrettable action, it is one that will greatly improve the collective effort of stopping the COVID-19 outbreak.

NOTE: It is vitally important that we have your mobile phone number! Please let us know your mobile by emailing contact@DyfiValleyHealth.org.

The Suspended Clinics:

The following clinics have been suspended:

  • Smear
  • Coils / Implants
  • Routine nursing checks
  • Flu
  • Gender
  • Joint injections
  • Private Work

All those affected from the above list of clinics will be contacted by either text message or telephone call. We hope to be able to give you an update on these clinics by the end of April 2020.

If you have any worries, please email contact@DyfiValleyHealth.org. We are trying to minimise the number of non-urgent telephone calls we receive, so please email us whenever possible.

  • Baby clinics
  • Urgent/needed clinics
  • Post baby checks – Telephone only
  • Diabetic reviews – Telephone only

If you have not heard from us, please come in as planned.
