In February 2021, Powys Teaching Health Board asked Dyfi Valley Health if we would assist them with their ambitious COVID vaccination campaign. Since then, Dyfi Valley Health has vaccinated around 1000 patients with the AstraZeneca vaccine in weekly COVID Vaccine Clinics.
In order to continue to provide a great primary care service to our patients we called for help from any local volunteers. We were delighted to receive such support from CAMAD and two retired Doctors.
CAMAD provided several volunteers to help with patients arriving and leaving the Practice, while Dr. Andrew and Dr. Simon have been regular vaccinators on all our vaccine clinics.
We now continue our COVID vaccination clinics to vaccinate all those due their second vaccine…
